don't know the reason, felt apt just disabled as randomly , hope Wilmot can solve this problem, for it is a powerful tool really!(and 0.9 has no this issue)

I'd even thought about using Palmary Clock to start it each hour, but obviously that's not a good idea~~~

Thanks.

Yes some users have reported this but I havn't been able to reproduce it.

You say you have it in 1.3 but not in 0.9, so perhaps it comes from one of the newer features. If you use
only the older features (that are also in 0.9) with 1.3, do you still have the problem ?

Dear anonymous,

could you have a look at this post in 1src and see if you can reproduce that on your device?

That might help nail the disabling problem.

Thanks!

My device is treo680.

I've recently registered Apt, 1.2, and I'm seeing Apt being disabled about 50% of the time after my Treo 680 powers off. The scenario is somewhat like what is described in the 1src thread that Pgr linked to above. Until the bug is found and fixed (fingers crossed), can we download older versions (full) of the software to see if the behavior persists? V1.2 is the only version that I've ever used.

Ouch, that's nasty. 650/680 are a thorn in my side :-)

I'll try the 680 simulator I guess. I hate that thing.

In the meantime I uploaded apt.1.1.zip and apt.1.0.zip to the same directory as the current version resides (i.e. the URL is the same except for the file name. You need to do a full Remove (Menu->Apt->Remove) of the current version before installing, the database is not backwards compatible. You maybe want to backup your reg key and AptDB.pdb first.

Thanks. Just downloaded them. I'll try them out and let you know what I find.

See also the Apt1.2x thread I just started.
