I will start things off w/something I am still working on:
I was using macros & tags only to 'automate' backing up to my 2ndary SD card. Here's that story:
When I want to backup to my 2ndary SD card, I need to go to the native Prefs app so I can remove my primary SD card w/out causing a crash - so I go into the native Prefs app & remove primary card for 2ndary. I have put the following in the profile for Prefs:
(M) Mnt App RscBackup+ (launching RB on mounting of card volume named Meredith)
& Apt Call cntt using Call to a Tag to enter a Ctrl:Tap (btw, Tap field is blank - to get past RBs warning msg about how the newly mounted card has a diff 'RB backup project' that the one currently in RAM memory )
& Apt Call rbuf using Call to a Tag to enter Pen:CBar /B (RB's own menu shortcut to start a new b/u)
So, naturally, in *Tags1* I have:
cntt Tag Ctrl Tap (I need this to dismiss RB's dialog-box msg warning me that this newly mounted card has a diff RB "backup project")
rbuf Tag Pen CBar b (starts a FULL "New Backup /B".
My 2ndary card volume is named Pamela.
Anyone who can share ideas, based on the above info, on how to make use of variables so I can have backups started for both Meredith & Pamela - it will be much appreciated.
TIA,
