1.3b3 full version is available at:

There's also a Lite version of this one:

This version is compatible with1.2 and1.3b databases. Make sure you backup AptDB.pdb before install. Your DB may be upgraded and then will no longer be compatible with 1.2.

Unless something is seriously wrong with this release, it will become the final 'official' release.

I am aware that some people still have various bugs but I don't believe any detract greatly from Apt's possibilities. At this stage the reward-for-hour-of-effort ratio is very low. I hope a majority of you are satisfied with the time I've put into supporting your bugs and wishes. It's time for me to move on to something else. Palm ? Android ? Who knows :-)

I will be reducing the price of the full version of Apt shortly, so if you are a new user I would advise waiting!

Thanks for the update. I'm sorry to hear to ending development on Apt! (Actually, I'm speechless, so I'll change the subject…)

Is this the same as the center press being passed through to the app underneath, or the app that was launched via the center button in a star menu? For example, I have a DA that pops up with its "close" button focused by default. Therefore, when I launch it from the center button in my star menu, the DA launches, then immediately closes. I was wondering if this bugfix is supposed to fix that type of issue. Because it didn't. However, I did come up with a workaround. I created a tag to be launched by the center button instead, that just launches the DA twice: the first time, it gets closed by the center button passthrough, but the second time, it stays. WOO HOO! I hate to have to use up tag space for that, though… ;u)

It wasn't aimed at that. I had the problem in Aeroplayer that pressing centre with a 1/Centr trigger configured was starting and then stopping playback again immediately.

I would've hoped it would also help the problem you described, oh well.

If I try to assign a function to any of the 5 way nav buttons they no longer function in other programs correctly. I had a functinon assigned to nav up and in Takephone I could only navigate up one click and it would not go any higher. I changed it to the cener button and then I couldn't cancel keyguard.

I'm not 100% sure if it is or not. I had disabled APT because I was having some issues, and this may have been it, I can't remember.

Don, I had the same or similar prob w/TP & Apt handling the NavUp button.

I have a workaround. In Apt make a setting for TAKEphONE like this: 0 NavUp - (this is someone else's idea, don't remember, but can't take credit).

This helped to make NavUp work for me inside TP….

Hey Treo M, did you use the proper "secret directory"? It's case sensitive. If you don't remember it, look at the email you received from Pent after your purchase was verified. Welcome to the club!

If you intend not to support apt, why not thinking about selling the source (for personal use)? I'm interested for my own enlightenment (NOT COMMERCIAL OR RESELL).

I think 1.3b3 is exactly same version as 1.3 final, isnt it Pent?
Maybe its better to finilize its name to 1.3 though.
